Postpartum Doula Profile

Hello, my name is Chelsé also known as The Fat Black Educator. I am a postpartum doula and babywearing educator, both of which I have a true passion for!

Within my work I find joy in all things parenthood big and small one of my favorites being the observation and identification of biologically normal infant behaviors from feeding cues to sleep patterns.

As means of supporting this passion I am currently in the process of studying biologically normal infant sleep alongside the mother baby dyad which so far has been both a fascinating and eye opening experience.

My goal is to continue expanding my scope of practice and utilize the knowledge I gain to equip families with education and evidence based information to assist them in this very nuanced season of life.
