Hi, I’m Ellen! I’m a lactation healthcare provider and certified postpartum doula (DONA) at the tail end of my IBCLC certification process (the gold standard in lactation care). Before recently returning to New York, I spent hundreds of hours supporting families in both hospital and outpatient settings in Philadelphia, helping with everything from breastfeeding and pumping to relactation and formula feeding.

My approach for support is based on an awareness that every family's needs and situations are different and I offer practical, evidence-based care that is always centered on what works best for you. I live 15 minutes east of Canandaigua and offer postpartum doula support and lactation support in Ontario, Seneca, Yates, and Wayne counties, as well as lactation consults in Syracuse and virtually. Wherever you are in your postpartum or feeding journey, don't hesitate to reach out! No one is meant to do the work of parenting without a village of support around them, and it gives me great joy to support and empower you as part of that village.
