Birth & Postpartum Doula

I became a birth and postpartum doula in 2024. I decided to follow this wonderful career path after completing my undergraduate degree in public health where I heavily researched maternal health in the United States. What stood out to me with that research was how much having a doula present for birth and postpartum can create a positive outcome. I wanted to be a part of that and help parents in their journeys to becoming parents.
I started my doula journey in Pittsburgh, PA where I worked in a variety of birth settings, including home births, the amazing midwife center, and hospitals. I also worked with over thirty families as a postpartum doula, helping them to rest and settle into routines with new babies.
My approach to doula work is simple: Parents know what is best for them and their babies. It’s my job to support them, advocate, and educate when wanted.
