Birth Doula Profile

Meet

Rachel Stacy

Birth Doula, Birth Planning

Birthwork has been calling Rachel since childhood. In fact, as a toddler she informed her mother that she wanted to "be a mom and a midwife, so I can catch my own babies". While the dream of midwifery education has not been fully realized yet, she has been privileged to support families alongside one of the local homebirth midwives as a birth assistant since 2023. She began supporting families as a doula in 2024, recognizing that it takes an effective team to support a family well.

When not at a birth, you can find her home-educating her children, studying at a local coffee shop, or listening to a podcast.
